Within a few days, hundreds of people who claim to be doctors flocked to the plaza's kingdom to join the competition. But none of those who managed to treat the prince. As a friend, Abu Nuwas try offering to treat disease for the crown prince.
At first the king doubted the ability of Abu Nuwas, because he was not a phyician. Prominent physicians in Baghdad when the land was notable to do the therapy to the prince, moreover Abu Nuwas who do not understand the problem of medical science. As with the other contest participants, the king gave oppotunity to the Abu Nuwas to treat disease for the crown prince. The king also ordered his men to find the old man who are referred by Abu Nuwas. Then the old man brought to the king and royal officials.

In time the old man to name the village in the south, Abu Nuwas put his ear to the chest of the prince. Abu Nuwas then ordered the old man mentions the name of village of the north, west, and east.
After all the countries mentioned, Abu Nuwas asked permission to visit a village to the north. This made the kings's astonishment, "I invite you here not for sightseeing."
"Sorry, the majesty. I went there not for sightseeing," argued.
"Why would you go there, while my son was lying limp in here....?" Said the king more curious.
"Once again, I beg pardon, glorious majesty. it seems unwise when I explain now," said Abu Nuwas who rushed to the village in question.
Abu Nuwas two days in the village, on the third day he returned to the kingdom and went straight to the prince to whisper something, and then his ears pinned to the chest of the prince.
Abu Nuwas went to the king who was afflicted with anxiety, "What glorious majesty Harun Al-Rashid still wanted the prince's life?" Asked Abu Nuwas.
"What do you mean?" The king asked in a tone somewhat curious.
"The prince was in love with a girls from the village to the north of the country," Abu Nuwas said to give an explanation.
"How do you know?" Asked the king.
"When the names of villages across the country is mentioned, his heart suddenly grew louder after hearing the name of the village in the north of the country. But the prince did not dare say it to the glorious majesty," said Abu Nuwas.
"Then what should I do?" Asked the king.
"The Prince must marry a village girl"
"If not?" asked the king hesitated.
"Love is blind. If we do not try to cure his blindness, he will die."
Abu Nuwas advice apparently can not be rejected by the king. The prince is the son of the sole heir to the kingdom.Exactly what was said Abu Nuwas. Upon hearing the approval of the king, the prince gradually recovered. As a sign of gratitude, the king gave gifts to Abu Nuwas of a beautiful diamond ring as the winner of the contest.
